This crowd pleaser is back, with a revised recipe to make it a bit less indulgent. We have increased the raspberries and raw cacao for an antioxidant boost. We have used our unsweetened almond mylk as a base, and maple syrup as the sweetener, which makes it a low fructose option. This smoothie is around 5% sugar and a bit lower fat than our other almond mylks due to the raspberry component. It's a good option for dinner on our cleanse.

Raw cacao is an amazing source of magnesium. Magnesium is important for muscle health, improving mood and controlling anxiety. When we are run down, we use up our magnesium quickly, leaving us deficient. Magnesium deficiency slows down metabolism and energy production, and is associated with fatigue, muscle cramps and loss of appetite.

The Red Velvet is a great source of potassium for a healthy heart, and has lots of good fats for healthy hormones.
